Find me on:

This summer we have plans to take a few days off here and there to relax and spend some time with family – always a good thing to do during the summer months! One of these occasions included a long weekend in Park City, UT which is one of our favorite places in winter and summer. My son Alex wanted to take a mountain biking trip and, although I haven’t ridden a bike in quite some time, I agreed to tag along. Overall, it was a good experience and a beautiful day in spite of the downhill tumble that I took! Get the “full” story in my video below!🚵

That adventurous day reminds me a lot of the journey we’ve all been on these past 18 months! As you think back to where you were in January of 2020 could you have imagined where life would take you in the months to come? Regardless of how you feel about how the various issues have been handled, it’s been quite a trip – we can all agree on that!

For many people there have been a few bumps along the way, and for some there have been larger events like my downhill tumble – loss of jobs, unexpected retirement, illness, and loss of family members.

At Creekmur Wealth we have a great interest in all that you go through – the great moments and the low moments- because we know that everything you experience is part of your True Wealth Journey. It’s our privilege to come along side you to assist in navigating these experiences both financially and personally. I have been so proud of how our team has stepped up to truly care for our clients during some of the difficult days.

Through all of life’s experiences, when you get to the other side it is important to take some time to recognize all that you’ve been through. To process the hard times and to celebrate the blessings of life – freedom, faith, family. I would encourage you to take some time to do this over the upcoming holiday weekend.

One of my blessings is our team here at Creekmur Wealth. With that in mind I am giving our team the day off on Friday, July 2nd as a day of respite – to relax and celebrate with loved ones. This means that our office will be closed for a long holiday weekend from Friday, July 2nd through Monday, July 5th. If you have any specific needs that may need attention during that time, please give us a call by close of business on Thursday, July 1st. We will return to regular business hours on Tuesday, July 6th.

I firmly believe that everyone has important dreams and goals they want to achieve. It’s been my pleasure to partner with some incredible on their journey for over 25 years now. One thing I’ve learned for sure is that this journey of life – with all the peaks and valleys – is so much more enjoyable when we take time to remember how blessed we are.

Be blessed,

John
